Overview ¶
Docket ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Docket mobile application (the "App").
Information We Collect ¶
Information You Provide ¶
- Project Data: Project details, tasks, ideas, releases, milestones, and notes you enter
- User Preferences: App settings, view mode preferences, accent color, and customization choices
Information Automatically Collected ¶
- Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription status via RevenueCat (no payment details are stored by us)
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version (for crash reporting only)
Information We Do Not Collect ¶
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- We do not access your camera, photos, contacts, or location
- We do not track your browsing activity or app usage patterns
- We do not use advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs
How We Use Your Information ¶
- App Functionality: To provide project tracking, task management, and release planning
- Sync: If enabled, to sync your data across devices via iCloud (your Apple ID, managed by Apple)
- Subscription: To verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features
Data Storage and Security ¶
- Local Storage: All your project data is stored locally on your device as JSON files
- iCloud Sync: If you have Docket Pro, data syncs via CloudKit (Apple's infrastructure). We cannot read your synced data
- MCP/CLI Access: If enabled, operates locally on your machine. No data is sent to external servers
- No Third-Party Access: We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
Data Sharing ¶
We do not share any personal or project data. Period.
The only third-party service integrated is RevenueCat for subscription management, which processes purchase receipts (not your project data). See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Your Rights and Choices ¶
- Access: All your data is visible within the App at all times
- Export: You can export all data via the Import & Export feature in Settings
- Deletion: You can delete any project, task, or idea at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all local data
- iCloud: You can disable iCloud sync by downgrading from Pro or disabling iCloud for the App in iOS Settings
Children's Privacy ¶
Docket is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
