Terms & Conditions ¶

1. Acceptance of Terms ¶

By downloading and using Metrics ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App ¶

• The App provides a native dashboard, widgets, and Siri integration for App Store Connect analytics
• You may use the App for personal, non-commercial use only
• You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the App
• You are responsible for complying with Apple's App Store Connect API terms when configuring the App with your own API key

3. App Store Connect Integration ¶

• The App connects directly to Apple's App Store Connect API using credentials you provide
• You are responsible for keeping your API key, key ID, and issuer ID confidential
• The App does not proxy, intercept, or relay your credentials through any third-party server
• We do not guarantee uptime, completeness, or accuracy of data returned by Apple's API
• Apple may rate-limit, deprecate, or change the App Store Connect API at any time; the App's behaviour depends on what Apple exposes

4. Demo Data ¶

• "Try with demo data" populates the App with a synthesised 5-app portfolio for evaluation
• Demo data is generated locally and does not reflect any real app's performance

5. Intellectual Property ¶

• All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Metrics
• App Store Connect data you fetch with your own credentials remains your data
• App icons, names, and metadata fetched from Apple's API are the property of their respective developers

6. User Conduct ¶

• You agree to use the App responsibly and not for any unlawful purpose
• You will not attempt to interfere with the App's functionality or security
• You will not share screenshots in a way that violates Apple's confidentiality terms for App Store Connect data

7. Subscriptions and Purchases ¶

• The App offers both free and premium ("Pro") tiers
• The free tier tracks one app fully
• Pro unlocks unlimited apps
• Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
• You can manage subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion

8. Disclaimer of Warranties ¶

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data sourced from App Store Connect
• We do not guarantee that the App will be available, error-free, or compatible with future iOS or App Store Connect API changes
• Daily AI insights are generated on-device by Apple's Foundation Models and may occasionally produce inaccurate or unexpected summaries; treat them as guidance, not advice

9. Limitation of Liability ¶

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the App

10. Changes to Terms ¶

• We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time
• Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of modified terms

Privacy Policy ¶

1. Information We Collect ¶

Information You Provide:

• App Store Connect API credentials (key ID, issuer ID, private key) — stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Names, email addresses, or other personal contact information
• Location data
• Photos or media files
• Contacts or calendar information
• Analytics, telemetry, or usage data of any kind

2. How We Use Information ¶

• API credentials are used solely to authenticate requests to Apple's App Store Connect API on your behalf
• Fetched reports (downloads, revenue, impressions, crashes, reviews, etc.) are cached on-device to power the dashboard, widgets, and Siri responses
• The daily AI insight is generated locally by Apple's Foundation Models using cached report data — no input or output leaves your device

3. Data Storage and Security ¶

• API credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain
• Cached App Store Connect reports and app metadata are stored locally on your device
• We do not operate any server that receives, relays, or stores your credentials or reports
• All network traffic goes directly from your device to Apple's App Store Connect API endpoints over HTTPS

4. Network Access ¶

The App makes network requests to:

• api.appstoreconnect.apple.com — to fetch reports, app metadata, reviews, and release information using credentials you provide
• App Store — for in-app purchase and subscription processing (handled by iOS, not by the App)

5. Third-Party Services ¶

• No third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or attribution SDKs are integrated
• No social media integrations
• No data sharing with third parties

6. Children's Privacy ¶

• The App is intended for developers and is not directed at children under 13
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children

7. Data Sharing ¶

• We do not sell, trade, or transfer user information
• We do not share data with third parties

8. User Rights ¶

• You can delete all app data — including your stored API credentials — by uninstalling the App
• You can revoke or rotate your App Store Connect API key at any time from App Store Connect; the App will stop working until you supply a new one

9. International Users ¶

• The App stores all data locally on your device
• The only off-device traffic is direct communication with Apple's App Store Connect API and Apple's StoreKit/IAP services

10. Changes to Privacy Policy ¶

• We will notify users of any material changes through app updates
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes

12. California Privacy Rights ¶

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected (none beyond your App Store Connect credentials, which never leave your device)
• Request deletion of personal information (delete the app)
• Opt-out of sale of personal information (we don't sell any data)

13. GDPR Compliance (EU Users) ¶

• Legal basis: contractual necessity for the credentials you supply; no other personal data is processed
• Data portability: all data is already local on your device
• Right to erasure: delete the app to remove all data
